Prezidential Palace

"We have just received reports of the last moments of the President of the United States. As the first bombs fell, they remained at the White House do deliver orders to their staff, valiantly trying to control the damage, and save as many lives as they could. Thanks to their efforts, most of the major cities have been saved, the bombs have stopped falling, and order is restored. Unfortunately, in the barrage, the White House was destroyed, the President remaining there to ensure as much was done as possible, going down with their ship. We thank the President for their brave actions. A lesser person would have most certainly have run and hid, and a lesser man could not have saved the world like they did."

  • When the going gets tough, those who have fortified bunkers hidden out in upstate New York to run away to in case of disasters run away to said shelters. On the outside, it appears like a run down house, bordered by an advancing forest, home to a few people native to Henry Ettas East. On the inside, or rather, about half a mile below that, to be more accurate, lies the true resting place of the last President of the US. Now, all that remains is all of the children they had, enough food to last another thousand years, and steel plating that would likely survive the eventual swallowing of the Earth by the sun.   Due to a typo, however, this pristine nugget tucked deep within the relative safety of what used to be nowhere (now it's less than that), will forever be known by the way the "Prezident" who built it spelled it. Thankfully, said prezident is long gone, but their descendants remain, blissfully ignorant of the world that collapsed around them.
