Madame Elene Vera Lagunov
Elene Lagunov founded Lagunov Robotics in Yankovo Perovye in 2115. The company pioneered the robotics industry leading to a time of prosperity for Yankovo Perovye. Elene is best known for this, and building the Janus Terminal in 2140. She died while work for the Hephaestus Terminal was underway.

General Physical Condition
Elene suffered from frailty from a very young age. She always struggled to gain and maintain weight leaving her very skinny. She is very weak, she can't lift heavy objects or walk on her own for long periods of time so she built robotic bracers for her arms and legs that would do those things for her. She often gets sharp unexplained chest pains which last for several minutes. In severe cases they can last up to an hour and she can't move during them.
Specialized Equipment
She has bracers for her arms and legs which are wirelessly connected to her brain to allow her to control how they move without having to move her arms and legs on her own. These bracers allow her to walk and lift heavy objects, but need frequent and regular maintenance. Because she can't move her body during her pain attacks, these bracers allow her to keep moving during them.

Elene is highly intelligent. She attended the Stanovaya Institute of Mechanical Engineering as a software engineering major, and already had a history of mechanics before attending.
Employment
Elene briefly worked as an engineer for a smaller company in Stanovaya before it declared bankruptcy. Afterwards she struggled to find a new job because despite having a strong educational history, Yankovo Perovye hadn't had a thriving robotics industry yet. After a few years of working in other jobs and other roles, she decided to found Lagunov Robotics, which would rapidly become the worldwide leader of the robotics industry. Lagunov Robotics gained rapid success due to the high rate of personal assistant and everyday use robotics being manufactured and distributed. Lagunov Robotics became so reliable, in fact, that after the initial ISDR terminal fell they were trusted to launch a new safer terminal for the station.

Elene believes that machines are better than people in every conceivable way, and that trusting in sapient creatures to operate important roles was a flawed belief. She believes that the world would be better served by having robotics take care of jobs and menial tasks, allowing organic people to live peacefully and happily.
