The Entropic Society
The Entropic Society is not a secret society; it is a society with secrets. It is a fraternal order, with a history stretching back over three and a half centuries, working with philanthropic projects throughout Voralar. The current grand master of the High Lodge of Linnadeigh is Lord Reginald Edgewood, who oversees the work of 173 different lodges throughout the country.
The Society operates schools, hospitals and unions throughout the nation, offering scholarships for disadvantaged youths. They are currently collecting money for the ongoing humanitarian mission to Jirrova.
The oldest known reference to the Society is an invoice for benches for the Ancient 4 (Nackbein) Lodge in Svütz - one of eighteen lodges worldwide with "Ancient" status, and commonly known within the Society as "Ancient Grandfather". This invoice dates from 27 Gn and was authenticated by the School of Entropic Studies at Eisburg.
