Rhydar
A world with a vast history. Rhydar is home to three major continents; Moara, Avara, and Rea.
Moara and Avara
Moara and Avara make up the two largest pieces of land currently owned by the Kingdom of Atla. This kingdom, the largest nation within Rhydar, is owned by the Polaris family. A family that believes they have been chosen by their goddess, Sister Lily, to bring peace to the world. The histories of the many nations that have inhabited the surfaces of these two continent are some of the most interesting on Rhydar. However, the most interesting catalyst to most of this are special types of rocks known as Remnant that are mined from the surfaces of these continent and give the people of these lands extraordinary powers.
The people who first founded these stones, the Rheyans who inhabit Avara, thought they were the hardened corpses of an ancient peoples who used to live milenium ago, known as Forebearers. This was the birth of the Religion of the Sisters, the most popular religion in this region of Rhydar.
Rea and the Northern Lands
The continent of Rea, known as the Northern Lands by the people of Moara and Avara, is a continent with its own, equally interesting and divergent, history. This continent, which lies north of Moara and Avara across the Siara sea, is the largest continent in Rhydar, twice the size of Moara and Avara. However, because of a massive volcanic mountain range that sits to the north of the western half of this continent, no people have ever travelled beyond, believing it to be death in the land of the living. Unlike Moara and Avara, which are all controlled by one power, the Northern Lands are owned by multiple warring nations that have hated one another for a millenium. It is said the fighting between these nations will end when the giant volcanic mountain range collapses and leaks lava all over the lands of Rea, killing all, but rebirthing a new world of peace. This apoclolypse, of the Korha religion, is the main belief of the people of the Northern Lands.
While Rea doesn't possess any of Remnant like Moara and Avara, there are magically born individuals who are believe to have been gifted by Korha. These people, know as awakens, are usually the great warriors and kings that flood the history books of the Northern Lands.
