Solsyn

Solsyn is the old god of nature. Her domain is vast, sometimes encompassing everything on Rhina, from the ocean, to the trees, the mountains, the flowers, the bugs, and even to the people. Solsyn is also considered the protector of Rhina by many, taking up the mantle after the death of Thi. This still allows her domain to care about the health of the plants and animals that live on Rhina.
During the events of Calamity, Solsyn was killed. Her immense power was split between many of the New gods. It is uncertain exactly how much power Solsyn held, but she is thought to have been the second most powerful god, surpassed only by the true god, Thi.
Death has not stopped the worship of Solsyn. Some deny that she could have been overpowered by the new gods, while others assume that her power continues beyond death.

Divine Domains

God of nature and protector of Rhina
Worship of Solsyn is the worship of the natural world. While there is some worship of Rhina directly, most is instead directed to Solsyn, the protector of the natural world.
Plants Farmers and herbalists may pray to Solsyn to improve crops and harvests, bring rain then sun for growth, and long temperate conditions.
Animals Likewise farmers and herders may pray to Solsyn to protect their livestock from predators, to provide a large liter of puppies, or heal sick animals.
Nature [pray for less flooding, temperate weather, etc.]

Tenets of Faith

Modern worship of Solsyn is fairly unorganized, although the City of Thi, [Visa city] and Corla all have a temple to the god. Most who care for the earth, or her plants and animals will offer a simple prayer.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Solsyn is described as tall and gorgeous, typically with Ghsiar shinning through her hair in paintings. She has darkly tanned skin, but platinum blond hair to contrast it. Her hair is always braided, sometimes long down to her waist, and other times braided as a crown on her head. She has light green eyes like the new growth of a pine tree.

Personal history

Solsyn Enna was a farmer with an exceptional green thumb. Most likely, unwoken magic aided her even before she gained the power of a Breath. She lived in Widud, caring for a large orchard and a few animals. Besides the plants and animals, Solsyn was thought to have a husband and a young child. Their names were not recorded by history.
