Part 5: Jaana

The party sails generally westward towards the island located on the chit'kin's map. As they continue the seas get rougher and rougher, culminating in a great storm on the 5th day of travel. After braving the storm for over 24 hours the Devil's Storm and her crew, battered and bedraggled, witness a beautiful sight. The storm dissipates and an island shines through. The crew docks on a beach of the small island. (No longer than 12 miles at its widest) A small party consisting of Niavara, Avery, Schlick, Cinder, Seirus, Killian, and the dragonborn paladain. The party forays into the jungle. They have not yet walked for 30 minutes when a ball of flame hurtles down at them from above, striking Shlick and Killian. Avery deduces that the object is a projectile lobbed at the party via trebuchet. The party then heads in the only general direction the projectile could have been lobbed from. The party eventually reaches a path. On the path they quickly encounter a small group of strange men. These men stand about a head shorter than most humans. They are mute aside from various feral noises. They have long, naked, pinkish, uniformly coloured, tumorous, rather grotesque faces with large noses and mole-like feelers dangling in front of their continuously grinning mouths. The rest of their bodies are covered in dense, well groomed, jet black fur.
