It is the year 312 PF within Revole. The Deities & people alike find themselves on edge after the events of The Founding. The distrust for the gods among Revole's inhabitants has only been strained further; yet, they know they must still worship them, out of fear of not awakening the Old Chaos...
Before
Since the start of recorded history, the people of Revole have lived alongside the great powers of this world. The Divines gave the mortals access to grand power, and in return they prayed to these deities. The mortal's worship fueled the God's divine energy.Through the use of these great gifts from above, the humanoid races prospered. They spread across the land, building great Kingdoms and achieving incredible feats. Ranging from the construction of grand monuments, to the creation of floating cities.
However, all of this would come crumbling down in a age known as the Time of Pandemonium... A time when people's faiths were challenged, resulting in the failure of many deities. This loss would result in an event that came to be known as The Founding...

The people of Revole have recovered greatly from the aftermath of The Founding. They and the great powers live in fear of reawakening the Old Chaos, and now have a forced mutual relationship between one another. New Kingdoms have arisen from the ash, and new possibilities await. The great creations of the last Age fuel the new one, and ambition runs heavily throughout the realm.
