The Unending Dream

  • The unending dream. Only the luckiest of souls get to experience its glory. A beautiful yet gruesome place. I am one of these such lucky souls. I washed upon the great shores, oh I don't know, quite a while ago. Its hard to keep track of time within the dream. I have seen many souls wash ashore, only to go running back to that decrepit ocean. I have also seen many arrive and make this place there home, even with as difficult as that it. Perhaps that is what lets them keep there sanity...
  • It is hard to describe the action of seeing someone get slowly eaten away. Not in the sense your thinking. To watch there mind rot. To see their sanity get taken away bit... by... bit. Haha, its a gorgeous thing. Everyone here on this isle is affected by this affliction. Some manage to crawl there way through the pain, while others get consumed by it, and return to whence they came. Oh, don't get the wrong idea, I too am effected by this disease. My mind is constantly being scratched at, its presence always trying to find a way to hook into my thoughts. Often times succeeding. Its in those moments that you either survive, or lose another part of your sanity. Its a incredible, but cruel thing.
  • As I mentioned earlier, the dream does not end until you make it end. From what I have described, you may wonder why doesn't everyone simply end it? Well, that is an excellent question you curious one, and I have the answer... fear- No one knows what lies beyond the dream. And well, the hints seem to imply something not so grand. So, most make a new life for themselves. Many become watchers, guarding that which they have created from those ever dreadful thoughts. Others, prey on the weak. They feed in to this affliction, worshipping it like a deity. I do not know who is right. All I know is that we all eventually, will be consumed...
  • For those reading this, you are most likely a part of this glorious spectacle. No matter where you are in your journey within this wretched nightmare, may I remind you to enjoy it while you can. Before it consumes you, and you join it in torturing those lucky enough to be apart of it...
