Taivas

"Faith in that which is tangible and present before you tis knowledge, not faith. Nay, our faith is true and devout. For although we do not see the fruition of our prayers and petitions, we endure in an eternal hope for the return of the gods who alone hold the power to save Revne from the curse of its isolation."
— Zandra Regalridge, Priestess of Savras

Structure

A high priest to each of the thirteen preeminent deities serve as a council who oversee the preservation and flourishing of religious focus within the city of Chalon and beyond its walls. Serving beneath each high priest is a myriad of priests, chaplains, clerics, and knights each devoted to a particular god within the pantheon.

Public Agenda

The Taivas and its Tower exist to restore Revne's place in the world. Followers believe this goal can be achieved through rites of repentance, prayers of beseeching the distant gods, and an over-arching focus on faith and hope as a means to face the day-to-day issues facing the region.

Assets

The Tower of Taivas, the stronghold of the Taivasts serves as not only their base of operations, but a consistent presence and reminder hovering over the Towerview district and much of Chalon as a whole.

History

Whereas the Taivasts were once members of disparate faith communities prior to the Shrouding, the sudden disconnect from their respective deities and loss of divine magics led to an unprecedented shift in the cultural reception of faith in the region. To ensure this crucial element of life endured and to seek the gods' aid in saving Revne from the Shrouding, thirteen priests aligned themselves under a new umbrella pantheon unified in prayer and petition to each of the included gods in hopes one of the deities is one day able to intervene and the devout of the Taivas proven faithful.
