Eden

Eden is a moderately sized country located on Brif , one of the three continents on Revelation. Approximately 500,000 square miles, Eden was predominantly settled by humans, but boasted moderate numbers of every race. Now longer lived races tend to be more commonplace due to the extended lifespans as a side effect of the curse. Some of the population emigrated, but the mass egress was put to a halt in the fears that the curse would spread to other countries.   Eden has gone into serious debt while trying to rival Sinaea in industry by mining out the Centennials. It led to an explosion of metal mining and smithing in Cleft, but leaves much to be desired in terms of economic welfare.   The Church of Wardens maintains a large presence in Eden due to the [Divine Wells]. While hardly as prosperous as it was previously in the country, the organization enjoys a international presence and thus survives and maintain upkeep and occupation of the Wells in the most holy country in the world.

Geography

Eden has 6 cities(Eden, Crest, Cleft, Temper, Ovala, and Refuge), 3 forests (The Century Forest, Redrot Wood, and Verdigris), 2 large rivers (Valknut and Myriad River), and one mountain range, the Centennials. It also boasts 3 [Divine Wells], the most of any country in the world. Crest, Eden, and Sanctus Cavea (aka the Ruined Church), were built on top of them.

Fauna & Flora

Insects and lizards have make up most of the fauna in the country due to the effect of the curse. Also common are demons, seemingly drawn to the power of the curse and the suffering of it's people.   While plant life has not died off completely, it has noticeably declined, as seeds do not sprout and plants only spread through cuttings and other such methods. This makes for highly localized plant populations that struggle, particularly against herbivorous creatures that have been on the edge of starvation for as long as they can recall.

Natural Resources

The climate of Eden is temperate and warm in most places, well suited to agriculture of all types, which was good when Eden was an agrarian powerhouse, supplying Brif with a multitude of floral resources. Unfortunately the curse has destroyed that economy. More commonly one finds fruit and nut orchards filled with perennial trees, and these almost always belong to a rich individual or family.
