Khrésyda Islands

The scattering of islands that make up the country of the Khrésyda Islands, this archipelago is lush, fertile, and warm, with bright sunlight on most days and warm rain on the rest. All kinds of fish call the vibrant coral reef surrounding the islands home, and even more in the warm ocean beyond.

Geography

The islands are surrounded by a lush coral reef. Most of the islands are close to sea level, but the two main islands boast large, lush mountains formed by volcanic activity many centuries ago. All of the islands have incredibly fertile soil and rich plant life, and a freshwater river cuts through the main island, its source a crystal clear lake in what was a volcanic crater. More of these perfect lakes can be found throughout the islands.

Fauna & Flora

Coconut palms, dragonfruit, bananas, and all manner of tropical fruits grow on the islands; wheat and rice were introduced some centuries ago and gleefully took root. Small pigs and chickens are native to the islands, as well as certain other birds, but mostly, the islanders rely on the bounty of the sea — fish, shellfish, crabs, and sea vegetation.
