Session 1: Plans Derailed

General Summary

The team are riding a Lodestone Locomotive from Cliffsend to Autumnholde. In the dining car, a Fire Genasi boasts of his heroics while a Silver Dragonborn crawls on all fours collecting meats and cheeses. Smoking by the window the next car over stands a purple Tiefling while in a nearby room a feline Beastwalker cradles a bundle and a Kenku plays a cardgame.
During the night Icarus wakes up to see an elf in a red cloak move past his room before an explosion rocks the car, sending it barreling down a hillside. The party awakes to find themselves onset by Goblins. The fend off the goblins and make introductions to one another. Investigating the second train car, they find a dead merchant and tracks that indicate two other passengers were dragged away. Following the trail, the party finds a cave hidden along the trees at the mouth of a stream.
