When the witch Astra Woods infected Dracula, Saxon, and Nicodemus with her homebrewed plague she changed the world forever. Being infected unvolantarly caused the brothers to rampage infecting hundreds of people with thier sickness and killing thosunds more. Luckly they eventually regained themselves and swiftly brought an end to the wild Strigoi they had created.
