Van Heisen

Warden

Van Heisen is a commoner himself, elevated a position of power by the guardsman that see over Leccer. Heisen doesn't let this go to his head though, and rarely uses their authority in an unjust way. Heisen has spent 23 years on the guard after becoming a militiaman(What they call apprentice guards in Leccer) at the age of 13. He showed promise since a young age and was able to easily wield a long sword and chain-mail. Heisen finds themselves more often than not breaking up small squabbles than seeing actual combat, much to their own happiness.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Heisen is a large ginger man commonly seen in plate armor. A hulking man a bit over 180 cm tall. When they open their visor, it is noticeable that their heritage has orcish features in it, including large sharp incisors.

Personal history

Heisen spent most of their childhood as other children within the cities do. During their summers they go out gathering during the day, go home for what little education their parents could give them. During the winter they stayed in repairing for equipment and taking care of upkeep around the house.
Heisen had one difference though, during their time in the summer their parents helped train Heisen in the sword. Heisen did not know this at a young age, but his parents were both soldiers from the thousand year war with Fusilis who moved to Leccer to retire.

Education

They were educated under their parents until they were the age of 13. After turning 13, they were trained under the previous captain of the guard, an elf named Vehalu Thel. Having trained under their parents they quickly surpassed most of the militia and were one of the youngest guardsman to be added to the official guard.

Employment

They are the current captain of the guard, and for almost the entirety of their lives they have been a guard.
