Head Priest Leer Alexandrea Reinhelt

Head priest of the church of Leccer, and general "go-to" for the people within the church for daily needs. Leer works to assign priests to their duties, appoint retainers to officials, and handles most of the official work of the church. They rank slightly below the high priest, who speaks for the capital whilst staying within Leccer.

Leer was the 2nd child within the Reinhelt family and always aspired to more than being a viscount to his older sister. To help achieve this they originally were going to take over as the high priest within the city of Ohm, teaching the elemental theory to those within the city and holding the coronations for the townspeople. This changed when the capital religion started focusing less on the primordial spirits and more on the ancestral gods. Leer, knowing that they'd be unable to teach the religion correctly fled to the city of Leccer, which had yet to be influenced by the capital's reach. This shortly changed by the time Leer became head priest when the high priest took their position in 1789. Leer has since worked against the High priest in clever and ingenious ways to ensure that the primordial teachings are still able to be taught in Leccer, though Leer's position is slowly eroding.

History

Both of the Reinhelts hail from the same lineage, though Kindren and Leer were born relatively distant from each other. Kindren was born much later than Leer, and Leer was able to climb the ranks of nobility within the capital and was placed as head priest of the church of Leccer. They have since bonded over the relationship they shared with their sister Ley.

History

The two got along very well as young children, but Olivia and Leo constantly pinned their children against each other to "push them to become better people". This only put some divide between the two, and while the older sibling was able to take the role of Viscount, the younger sibling had to search for other ways to make a living. While Leer could have enjoyed being a lord in some way, Leer aspired for more and was somewhat resentful of their sister's ease at getting the position.

History

As the high priest, Sarahneer speaks on behalf of the capital. Sarahneer tries and influence the Leccer church to continue to embrace the ancestral gods, even trying to expand certain areas of influence of the church and put "commoners" churches within the commoners quarters to allow for easy access to the ancestral Gods. Leer has opposed all advances of the ancestral gods, and has instead focused on "keeping tradition" and still highlighting ancestral gods through the original teachings.
