Eros

The capital of the journey of life, and protector of the natural world. Though many of them are pacifists by nature they are extremely defensive of the natural world and the cycles that continue it. They are strong believers in the primordial gods, but specifically worship Cembris and have an altar that they give homage to almost daily.

Defences

The people of Therris are the ones who are protecting the people of Eros and have been for some time now. The defenses are primarily about a days journey east of the actual city of Eros, where the train station line sits. The actual city boasts no walls or fortifications, and really has no defences to speak of. The Therrisian military has since set up small wooden palisades in case of an attack, but the area generally has not been contested.

Industry & Trade

The city of Eros primarily sends most of their produce and food to Therris as per their protection agreement. The city of Eros itself has an extremely diverse set of culinary habits and is an inspiration for the Oria Curry found in the city of Oria. They're also known to trade in an exquisite darkwood that is rarely found within the world. There are several patches of it that are highly protected by the people of Eros, and they will only harvest trees that have already been felled naturally.

Infrastructure

Eros is a small village and does not boast entirely large expansive infrastructure. Generally they are far behind most other countries, but they are extremely well integrated into the natural world they find themselves in. buildings are all seamlessly fit within small clearings, and the forest trails through seem to almost follow a natural path. The dirt roads are unlikely to be comfortable to ride across on carriage but most folks only use carts for transportation.

History

Eros celebrates the same holidays as Ethereos; The harvest festival, Blossom Festival, and even the day of remembrance. The largest difference comes from Eros's celebration of Isochronus, which is a day in August that celebrates the cycle of life, and is known for several festivals involving food, wines and a cultural play that has significance to the locals. That day is also known for the highest day of conceptions as it is customary to have sex with others on that day to "continue the cycle".
