2022/06/08: Hunting the Rift Dweller Report

We’re in the fox village, considering options for getting the wolf weapons quickly. Tsuki-Yomi is a god of the orderly progression of time whose avatar is a rabbit. We suspect Usagi (the rabbit who Sith woke up with on his chest) is an avatar of that god. We took a grand offering of carrots to Tsuki-Yomi’s temple so he might help us speed up Malakai’s weapon forging.
After he finished forging with the help of one of Usagi’s friends, we headed back to the rift. We were promptly jumped by a bevy of the Rift Dweller’s shadow adventurers and a rift crawler. Ruby died in a duel with a samurai, but everyone else got out of the initial fight with the shadow adventurers mostly unscathed. Towards the end of phase 1 Buzz used “Phoenix Gate”, which gave a giant Voltron mech that had been broken and smashed into the wall of the Rift a final action, and it fired a big blast of positive energy that damaged the remaining shadows and halfway revived Ruby. Then Sith Wished that Ruby had never died, and she was alive at 1 hp. Then the Rift Crawler tried (and failed) to pull Knight off the bridge.
