Physical quirks
Kitsa's permanently attached cutesy panda hat doesn't meld into her form when she shapeshifts like most equipment does. Fortunately, it does compensate with excellent magical benefits.

Kitsa is a tibbit, also known as a "werecat". She spends most of her time in the shape of a domestic housecat, but she can switch to a humanoid form at will.
Apparel & Accessories
Kitsa has daggers and a ukulele when she's in her larger, humanoid form. In all forms, she has a fluffy white hat with black panda ears.

Personal history
Kitsa was once a domestic cat who belonged to an incompetent wizard. His endless parade of failed experiments and unintended side effects splashed magic throughout his home, and his housecat gradually gained sapience and a variety of magical abilities. It wasn't all to the good, however; alongside the spontaneous explosions and near-death experiences, the wizard managed to permanently meld a fluffy magical panda hat to Kitsa's head. Kitsa eventually declared that enough was enough and escaped.
She adventured for a time on her own, realizing her talent as a healer and bard. One day, however, she followed a strange, alluring light and found herself in the underways of Castle Fallingstar in Meridan, in February of 24 ARL. There she met the swordsbird Kal'vus, and she joined him and his fellows in a quest to defeat the remnants of the Animus Society in Kaelund.
