The New Rail Act 2023
Construction beginning/end
President Hill passed the New Rail Act, 2023 which oversaw an era of extreme construction and development of the Infrastructure in the United States, 77% of Roads, 90% of Railways, 56% of Airports and 100% of Docks saw a giant funding increase and reconstruction which massively overhauled the way the country supplies itself over the next few years, providing millions of jobs and generating several billions of USD through employment and development and while the cost was high the payoff was higher.
By 2025, 8 High Speed Intercontinental Railways have either been completed or over halfway finished that saw travel from the East to West, and Far north to far south with trains capable of transporting several tonnes more of equipment and resources across the country. In 2024, the United States Military also began their own series of projects, upscaling the development.
Several old craggy roads were hugely expanded to 16 Lane Superways while hundreds and even thousands of roads were torn up and reused to expand existing side roads to cut down on the level of unnecessary roads.
Out-of-date bridges and crumbling infrastructure were all stripped and torn down to get new materials for newer and bigger bridges and newer and bigger depots. Hundreds of train stations across the country also vastly expanded which fundamentally transformed the Transport industry.
Docking also was transformed with the capacity for trade quadrupled with new Super Ports across major American coastal cities allowing for GDP increases and greater investment opportunties.
