Labrador War

Military: War

The Labrador Sea is very important for controlling Greenland's resources, no faction was interested in actually restoring the ruined Nation of Greenland, merely extracting its resources for the sake of Survival. The War started when Russian Ships attacked American Fleets and the Sea base in New Foundland being used to supply American Power Projection in the areas, as expected of this Era, The War was Undeclared but very real as American and Russian Fleets and forces duked it out across the Sea and all over Greenland, fighting over sparsely populated ruins and decaying mines and refineries.
  The War was also costly for both sides due to the horrible Winters afflicting this part of the Hemisphere at the time. The War was largely ignored due to the Media Spectacle that was the War for Alaska and Canada that was raging at the same time, instead, this war was mostly populated by intense but sparse battles between elite task forces.
  The Biggest fights were often highly automated with Automated Armies fighting each other in the backdrop and supporting the efforts of their designated Elite Task forces. US Naval Supremacy was more pronounced in this sector due to the fact that Russia couldn't spam ships as they do in Alaska, they had a much greater Distance to travel, which highlighted how little the Russian Ships were valued compared to the American Ones, such as many Russian ships actually still running on Fossil fuels even though many American ones had switched to Nuclear for some time now.
  The SU Series of Jets got to see some major action against American Aircraft, Anything short of F18s was just getting absolutely floored with F35s being inadequate to take on the SU-57 forcing the Americans to depend on Ultra Fast F18 Super Hornets and more armoured variants of the F22. Russians were also very effective at finding American Stealth craft due to advances in their Radar tech, which had been inappropriately used on this Conflict rather than in Alaska where it could've been more useful.
  Still, Russia was successful in at least Neutralising Greenland by destroying its remaining Asses with Dirty Tactical nukes and irradiating the country so badly that the Americans simply lost interest in it entirely. The War Unoffically concluded with the Peace talks triggered by the 3rd Battle for Anchorage.
