Australia and Canada Strike Saudi Arabia!
Military: War
Needing Experience and legitimacy, the Commonwealth Army members, Canada and Australia select the Yemen Situation as the best place to test their metal. In the early hours of the morning, Commonwealth ships launched a surprise offensive on Occupying Saudis and caught the regime in the middle of the most recent 'pacification' effort.
The Response was quick with battles raging all along the Yemen coast. The United States only has a single reaction to the event, they bomb the oil fields completely and cripple Saudi Arabia. Over the next few months the Commonwealth Army makes their way through Yemen, liberating villages and setting up defences for the locals.
By July 7th, The majority of Yemen is free of Saudi occupation and regular supply shipments have been coming in for a while now. While the move destabilised the Geopolitical situation in the Middle East, The often starved Yemenese finally got the desperately needed relief they have been begging for.
Saudi Arabia denies offers for peace and Launches new offensives across the Yemen Border with 42 Armies against the comparatively small Liberation force. The initial defence was a disaster as Saudi Arabia steamrolled the unprepared defenders but as they tried to reach deeper into Yemen, The British Army lands to support the Commonwealth and burrowed troopers through the newly gained Saudi territory.
While Australia and Canada reinforce their positions and begin solidifying the Yemen Government, Britain digs deep and dethrones the Saudi King and ends the rule of the Saudi Throne. However, the British provisional government swiftly breaks down as Insurgent movements tear the country to shreds with ISIL in particular taking over large swathes of the country, eventually forcing the Brish back which focused on the Rest of the Commonwealth, securing Yemen and Oman.
By the 31st of December, 2025, Saudi Arabia had been defeated and while some good has been brought by it, a lot of bad has also been brought.
