The Alaskan Conflict enters a new and terrible state of complete stagnation, Russian Forces continue to invade the State and try to secure its resources and America continues defending the State. However it extends to more than just Alaska but the coasts of Canada too, elongating the Front of the War. Dawson City was one such area that was attacked thoroughly for the Gold in the area but also its strategic position along the Yukon River, if captured, the Russians could choke the Americans due to the Difficult Occupation of Canada costing them much-needed manpower.
  Americans of course defended these sites but all of this was also happening in one of the worst and longest winters in Alaskan and Canadian History that was also affecting adjacent Russian Territories. The Long Freeze was caused by severe atmospheric disturbances from the Nuclear War which made the entire campaign far more costly, with Soldiers on both sides dying from Starvation, Dehydration, Frostbite, Plagues and worse.
  Both Armies also had to contend with a lot of Raiders due to the fact that this part of Canada and most of Alaska was now all Wastelands meaning that attrition was higher than either side was ready for. There were also dozens of major Battles across the major cities and geographical features of this area, especially in the Air and Sea where mobility was the most important for ensuring the results of future conflicts.
  The War was also very unpopular in Russia due to the fact that the Empire already had to deal with so much that fighting Americans in an Undeclared war for land that seemed so far outside of their reach seemed Negligent at best.
  By 2048, Russia and the US open Talks to resolve the Conflict Peacefully due to the extremely high cost of the war and the slow pace it moves, most Strategist believing it'll be over as soon as 2187 at this point.
