  House Industries creates the very first, Combat Mech. The X-01 Urban Sentinel is a Machine designed for Urban warfare. Capable of climbing buildings, briefly hovering in the air and swiftly moving through environments. The mech is capable of providing the same kind of support a Tank can.   Due to House's policy of Underselling, he easily gives the Schematics over to General Robotics who begins creating X-01 Mechs for the United States Army. President John Abrams briefly signs off on the action, kickstarting America's edge in robotics at 120 Billion USD on budget. General Robotics gets to work on making the X-01 more affordable, giving it limited Deployments in Syria and Estonia as a start.   House Industries then signs a contract with General Robotics to work with them and generate more X-01 Mechs than House Industries could've produced with its own Private Resources. Though each unit was cheaper than it should be at the start, House still ended up making 1.1 Trillion USD in profits by earning bonuses and rewards from General Robotics by creating innovations that had actually already been completed making the X-01 better at its job.   It was a scam but it delivered what the United States was looking for.
