Through the use of Special Medicines, Zvonimir Vrselja and David Andrijevic were able to restore dead organs in pigs. The Medicine could be used to reverse Organ damage and may even, given time, restore bodily functions.   Soon after the Medicine was founded, House Industries agrees to help finance the development and eventual release of this life-saving medicine, with plans to implement the medicine in future Gene Treatment techniques and technologies.    OrganEx would then find interest from The US Military who added their own additional financial backing and bolstered the development team with Scientists and Doctors both the original inventors choose.
"Just think about the shortage of organs. There’s a big wait list. Kidneys, for example, are the most needed organ. And so now—if this system is optimized and advanced to a point where you can take people who have been dead for an hour and whose organs were not eligible for transplant—ideally, we [can] maybe start to tap into those organs. At the end of the day, it’s not science because of science. You want to do stuff because it matters."- Zvonimir Vrselja
