Introduction
The Prelude is a collection of various conflicts often thought to be the biggest Contributors to the Eventual World War 3 it's self. It was a hectic period that stretched over the 2020's and climaxed in 2030, resulting in the world of Neonphage. The Conflicts all very but all of them share blame for what happened and how it all eventually ended. There were a great many causes for this build up, a perfect storm of terrible events and disasters that necessitated war and aggressive foreign policy as well as the general shifting of age old Alliances. For a long time the world had recklessly handled the globe with the assumption that great wars were the stuff of fiction and that something like that could never happen again, they were wrong.Global Economic Turn Down
Whether it was Covid or not, the Shutting down of the global market caused some expected trouble however the Reckless economic policies of the then governments caused even more turmoil, with various wars starting for various reasons that only continued to harm the economy's health. Eventually the total crash of the system made the full break out of global war inevitable.Ineffective and Negligent Policies in the UN
Instead of being a tool of Multilateralism and peace, the UN became a tool for nations to compete and for them to use to boost their own legitimacy. It became a joke and a laughing stock. It's inability to solve anything an d it's failure to help the people it claimed to protect made any attempt to alleviate the problem practically mute.The Rise of the Far Right
Another big Destablizing factor was the violent rise of supremacist ideologies in many countries, most shockingly in Germany who had long struggled against it. The rapid fall of many countries like America and Germany rapidly de-stabalized the globe and set it on the course for war.
