Aethereal Plane

The Aetheral Plane is the plane of magic in the world. It is a metaphysical layer that overlays all other planes of existence in Reldaz. It is also the source of Aether, which is the source of magic in the world.

Geography

The Aethereal Plane is very difficult for average people to travel.  Since it is a metaphysical plane of existence that overlays all other planes of existence, the plane itself manifests as a chaotic mishmash of all of the planes covered in color changing mists. Not only that, but the landscape itself changes based on perception. It is quite easy to get lost within this plane for this reason. Some creatures are skilled at navigating it, but they are rare.
