Fallen Gods

Fallen gods are the term given to deceased gods. Fallen gods do not retain their followers or cults, as they are passed on to their successors, but often are left recorded in history or remembered through myth and legend. There have been too many fallen gods to count, but some remain in culture today, most often the only worship these gods get is during Shia's festival.

Cryce, The Fallen Rabbit

Cryce, The Fallen God of Rabbits, is perhaps the most well known of all fallen gods, for having been Ferventi, God of Wolves's mate and his intense mourning of him to this day. Cryce is a prominent figure in the myth, The Rage of Ferventi.

Hilathu, the Fallen God of Serpents

Hilathu is also a well known fallen god, who brought on his own death due to greed.

Unknown Fallen God of Foxes

Although her name is lost to time, there was a fallen fox god who raised Ferventi as her own and is considered by him to be his mother. Ferventi's mantle is made of her tails, as a way of preserving some semblance of her image. The fox pelt that makes up his headdress is commonly believed to be hers.

Pagoni, the Fallen Peafowl

Pagoni, Fallen God of Peacocks, was the mother to Yung Pagoni, God of Peacocks and died only a few years after he was born after a long, successful reign and peaceful retirement. Despite that some think of Pagoni as abandoning Yung to so she could die, Yung holds no resentment to her. As her death was fairly recent as far as fallen gods go, not all imagery of her has been erased from the peacock temples or cults, and there still exist many photographs of her.
