The Bellows Inn

Situated on a bustling corner of Pervoshi, The Bellows Inn offers a warm respite from the biting cold of the surrounding landscape. The inn's name is a nod to its rich history, as the building was originally a blacksmith's workshop, renowned for its massive bellows that once fanned the flames of forge fires. These fires produced some of the finest metalwork in the region, a testament to Pervoshi's industrial roots. As the town's mining industry began to wane, the demand for extensive metalwork diminished, and the workshop was eventually abandoned. Years later, an enterprising former miner, recognizing the building's central location and sturdy construction, transformed the spacious structure into an inn.   The Bellows Inn retains much of its rustic charm. The original stone forge has been cleverly converted into a grand fireplace that now dominates the main common room, providing heat and a cozy gathering spot for guests. The walls, built to withstand the intense heat of a forge, ensure that the inn remains snug and warm, a selling point for travelers seeking shelter from the cold. The old bellows, once crucial to the workshop's operation, have been preserved and incorporated into the decor as a historical centerpiece, reminding patrons of the building’s fiery past.   Today, The Bellows Inn is popular among travelers and locals alike. Its rooms, once storage spaces for metal and tools, have been converted into comfortable accommodations, combining rustic aesthetics with modern comforts. The inn also serves as a casual meeting spot where miners and merchants discuss business over hearty meals and strong ale.   On special occasions, the inn hosts performances and gatherings in what was once the blacksmith's yard, now a charming enclosed courtyard.
