Celestial

The very planes of existence within Eldoria were said to be once forged by creatures of immense power - they were called Celestials. The Eldorian Essence then granted the Celestials with even greater power, while also assigning them to the task of protecting the place they created, as well as those that would call it home. The Celestials watch over the land, and commune with other Celestials to keep balance within the realm. As their time approaches, they pass the role of Celestial onto a new being, whom they find worthy. Once the role is passed on, they reside in the Celestial Orb, until the new Celestial is ready to protect the land alone. Once that time arrives, the old Celestial passes away, and the rest of their Affinity is also passed along. Once a Celestial enters their Celestial Orb, they gain the ability to speak telepathically to others who are nearby.

Appointment

A Celestial can only be chosen by being rewarded by the Eldorian Essence for the creation of new land to protect, or by having the role rightfully passed down to them by a precursory Celestial.

Duties

A Celestial must protect the place they are a Celestial of, as well as those that call the place home. They must also consider someone who will be worthy to carry the role they must pass on once they pass away.
