Kirbridge

"Kirbridge is a very busy town with no time for rest. No matter what time it is, if the town is quiet enough, you can hear the sound of mining echoing in the night sky. It helped me fall asleep and found it uneasy to not have that sound. Kind of why I moved back. I missed it a lot."

Defences

The local defense of Kirbridge is the metal and wooden partition along with the guards. There is no military force that Kirbridge has to muster, and the local militia is only about 200 strong.

Industry & Trade

The main export of Kirbridge is smelted ore that ranges from iron to silver. The gems discovered in their raw state are transported to other cities that can cut the gems properly.
The main import into Kirbridge is cloth and silks.

Assets

Kirbridge is known for it's mines owned by the Gilded Miners as well as one of it's many different blacksmiths that are used to process the ores brought out from the mines.

Guilds and Factions

The main guild in Kirbridge is the Gilded Miners. Another prominent organization is the Coal Hearts. The Coal Hearts is more of a fraternity that all miners are initiated into when they join the work force. Once you've entered the Coal Heart you'll always be a Coal Heart.

Tourism

There aren't a lot of tourist that make their way to Kirbridge to see it for its sights. The most common visitors are inspectors of the mines from the Gilded Miners. The inspectors are there to check on the revenue of the mine, that it meets current safety protocols, and to address the miners concerns if any have arisen.
Visitors who do visit only have one place to stay during their time, The Dusty Cellar. The Dusty Cellar offers all who stay food and board during their stay.
