~ Unknown Farmer
Basic Information
Anatomy
Horse's anatomy is similar all breeds. Long face with rows of flat teeth to grind down the plants that they consume for food. Thick trunks bread through natural selection to give a higher yield of meat and more strength. Four large haunches and legs, though this is their biggest weakness too. If a horse injures its leg it can heal improperly and causes the horse to go lame and either die to predators or slaughtered by their owner. They have short hair across their body excluding the mane and tails that have a very thick hair.
Genetics and Reproduction
Horses reproduce sexually with a gestation period of 9 to 10 months in which they give birth to one foal, sometimes two in rare occasions.
Ecology and Habitats
A wild horse varies in its environment but prefers plains or light forest. Swamps, mountains, and other hazardous terrain rarely if ever have horses excluding those who've been domesticated and are transported to those environments.
Domesticated horses live off of hay and whatever gases that the farmers provide. While domesticated the average farmer provides more than adequate space for the horses to roam and maintain an adequate healthy weight.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Horses are herbivores that will eat any plant life around them. Their preference though is green herbs and weeds. The stomach of horses can handle some of the more toxic plants that humanoids can't handle, the most common being the spiked fern.
