Apex Preadator

Qualifications

Follower of Toka'Grel, and Archdruid (or equivalent) of their tribe.

Requirements

Killed the previous Apex Predator, or slew the Feral Manifestation of the failed usurper.

Appointment

After slaying the Apex Predator the new Apex Predator must anoint themselves with the blood of the previous Apex Predator. After which, they must survive the next 24 hours of being constantly hunted by wildlife of the Verdant Jungle. If failed, the soul of the individual is transformed into a Feral Manifestation for which a new challenger must slay before becoming the new Apex Predator.

Duties

The duties of the Apex Predator varies on each individual but all have one in common; to stop the encroachment of the Pathfinders or other civilizations from encroaching into the Verdant Jungle.

Responsibilities

The Apex Predator is the closest creature to Toka'Grel and is responsible for enacting his will upon the other tribes. This does not protect the Apex Predator from defending their title when visiting other tribes, but most do not challenge the Apex Predator when on a mission from Toka'Grel. They also ensure no animal population over populates an area and will start to thin the herd of no other tribe is maintaining the population.

Benefits

While the individual retains the title of Apex Predator can communicate with other animals.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If an Apex Predator ever willingly enters civilization, without the intent on destroying it, they are hunted by Toka'Grel and when slain are turned into a Feral Manifestation.
