Pendrax

The Pendrax are a bipedal species, with a humanoid shape, although their body structure is quite different from that of humans. They have a taller and leaner build, with elongated limbs and fingers. Their skin is a dark, almost black in color and is covered in small, glossy scales that give them a sleek, almost reptilian appearance. They have large, round primary eyes that are typically a pale yellow or white color with a large pupil and no iris. Their head is oblong and irregularly shaped, with a rounded chin and a small, almost non-existent nose. They have a long, narrow mouth with sharp, pointed teeth. They also have a pair of small, yellow, bony protrusions covering their head, which are various forms of sensory organs that allows for the perception. They have no hair, and no visible ears. In the Earth normal gravity, their immense height is mitigated somewhat by their need to hunch over due unless using gravity nullifying tech or powers. Overall, the Pendrax have a striking and intimidating appearance, which is further enhanced by their mastery of cloning and advanced technology.

Basic Information

Genetics and Reproduction

The Pendrax only reproduce through cloning and genetic grafting. The most powerful and most optimal results of this process are inducted into the Judicar.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Pendrax prefer to consume living prey, but can subsist on a photosynthetic biological system that can provide enough energy to allow Pendrax to survive periods of extreme deprevation at the cost of much motility and higher reasoning.

Behaviour

The Pendrax are highly cultured and indoctrinated to serve specific roles and needs of the Legion, although reports say many other sapient species that are part of the Legion and not fully assimilated into the Pendrax give a wide variety of perspectives and views in the society as a whole, including a degree of variability in early education and breeding practices.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The Pendrax are able to organically sense the majority of the electromagnetic spectrum via their eyespots. Their visual sensory range runs from the lowend of gamma rays through LF radio waves, although their ability to translate this input into usable information, particularly when dealing with alien information, can lead to confusion and disorientation with proper filtering.
