Session 4
General Summary
Pride of the Dawn
The party arrived in the elven capital city of Envenir and encountered festivities as the arrived during the Pride of the Dawn festival, a festival celebrating elven culture and welcoming other cultures from all walks of life into their lands. Not looking to get too caught up in the festivities and looking for work, they made their way to one of the inns, The Final Voyage Inn.
The Final Voyage
The Final Voyage Inn is an old pirate ship that hangs from the trees of Fonvelenor's forest. The party made their way inside the inn and met with Grus Beardsley, the Inn's owner. He delighted them with tales of the inn's origins and how the famous Berkon Beardsley fought in defence of the ship in the astral sea.
Stolas went shopping while Yippity played some rather unsuccessful poker. Eventually the group contacted the guards of the city in order to do work on behalf of the Moonsong.
Guarding the Garden Party
Firlania Moonsong was surprised to see the group again so soon and rushed them in to help as guards during the elven nobility garden party for the festival. There the group were able to converse with Elven Nobility while keeping a keen eye out for dangers. During this time it was revealed that Firlania was an Elven Princess.
High Society Mingling
Yippity chatted with Halamar Halesh and his twin Keishara Halesh, two elven royals. They discussed magical pacts and other strange magical conversation, which caught the attention of Stolas, who talked with the two at length about the study of magic, Cresen and the Irdanian games. Yippity moved on to play a game of cards with Raynard Verris, minister of trade and commerce.
Rupert conversed Fenzidor Treste and Firlania and then with Raynard and Tiraellyn Valindir (minister of foreign relations) about some societal and cultural politics before Raynard eventually moved on to gamble with Yippity.
Yippity lost the game and was forced to pay in information about Silas, who Raynard had seemingly taken an interest in. Raynard eventually conversed with Silas, discussing the rarity of Astral elves around Envenir.
During this party, Novita was hit with a burning pain in her human ear. She collapsed and saw visions of escaping a dark tower with the handle she carries in her possession. She stole it from an altar and watched as her companions died one by one fleeing from dangerous monsters. It was revealed that her human ear belonged to a woman named Ilyana who hid the handle, and then was killed fleeing shortly after.
Novita awoke from her vision to the sight of two elven nobles who helped her up, they introduced themselves as Oldovar Sunblade and Annagathar Kaleste.
