Ekon
Ekon "The Unbreakable"
Origins
Ekon was a child of Tydrus the Lawbringer and was born in Arn as a child of a high priestess. Devoting his life to learning Law in honour of his father, Tydrus became a Paladin. There eventually came a time where he left home, and decided to form a group of adventurers.
A Mythmaker
Ekon the Unbreakable was the former leader of The Mythmakers and a powerful Paladin of Tydrus. He formed The Mythmakers and saw them through many battles, eventually becoming the main adversaries of Estaroth, Lord of Agony. He formed a close bond with his team and together they overcame fierce foes, brokered peace between warring nations, freed the innocent and defended the downtrodden. As a group they even got the attention of the Gods and were gifted relics of divine power.
He stood as a symbol and steadfast leader, something for any adventurer to aspire to.
The Fallen Hero
It was reported by the surviving Mythmakers that in the final battle between Estaroth and The Mythmakers, Ekon was betrayed and killed by his fellow teammate Elandael. It is said that Elandael had secretly become a follower of Estaroth and actively worked against Raxodan from within the team. His death was shocking and he was mourned by many. He is remembered as one of the greatest heroes of Raxodan, and will be remembered in its myths and legends for all time.
He has a statue dedicated in his honour alongside his fellow Mythmakers in Arnelyzia.
The Unbreakable
As his name suggests, Ekon was unbreakable. Not just a title bestowed by the high priests of Arnelyzia, Ekon could not be harmed by non-magical weapons. This is why his death came as a shock to many. Whatever foul weapon was used to slay Ekon must have been a relic of dark magic, forged by the Lord of Agony himself.
