Klaus von Zarovich
Klaus von Zarovich (a.k.a. Blood Boy)
Klaus has so far been a model member of the Von Zarovich Family, prioritizing martial abilities over magic but not discounting them, walking the line between good and evil, and bringing little attention onto himself. The only way he stands out is in his parentage: his father is unknown to all but his mother. As a result, it shocked everyone when he immediately sided with the Alchemist after the split, even before Vasili had reached out to the rest of the family.

Special abilities
As a Von Zarovich, Klaus is rather intelligent and gifted in magic, which he uses to further his skills as an Eldritch Knight, as well as a strange ability to use his own blood to fuel his spells in a pinch. His mother's side of the family has also passed along the curse in the form of horrible nightmares of a bloody wedding gone wrong that sometime leave him exhausted.
He also has an intuitive sense for ghosts and souls for reasons he suspects have to do with his unknown father. Ghosts nearby will flock to him in droves, making travel difficult for him. He's managed to hone his skills over the years, however, so that he can differentiate the souls of the living and spirits clearly so to best avoid them.

Klaus has met all the ghosts of Barovia at least once and all have told him of their lives, from the people they had left behind to how they died. Some were gentle deaths, but the violent ones have deeply affected him.
