The Great Abyssian War

The Great Abyssian War was a conflict fought between 2 major factions. These factions being The Allied Forces and A.R.M. The war began in the year 53ac. Lasting over 6 years until it ended in 59ac. The war started in response to the Skrapr and Twi races announcing their leave from the Aetherian Empire, a year after the events of the Atheri Genocide. This was considered an act of treason by the king of Abyssia, and the king ordered the city of Oblivion to be captured and reinstituted into the Aetherian Empire by the A.R.M. In retaliation to this the lord of Oblivion, Gabriel Steel, proposed an official alliance with [Placeholder], the leader of the Twi population. This Alliance was known as The Allied Force. After the defeat of the platoon of A.R.M troops, The Allied Forces declared war on the Aetherian Empire.The Allied Forces
The Allied Forces was an alliance between the Skrapr and Twi races that resided in the Abyss, later being join by the Olympion race. The group was first lead and proposed by a Skrapr named Gabriel Steel, previously being the lord of the Skrapr nation of Oblivion. However after Gabriel's death, the leader became Dralf Steel, son of Gabriel. The group acted a treaty of peace and aid between all involved. The groups primary propose however was to protect all under it's alliance, as well as acting as a combined force to de-stable the monarchy and hierarchy of the Aetherian race.
The Aetherian Royal Military (A.R.M)
The A.R.M, also known as The Aetherian Royal Military was the official military of the Aetherian Empire, was used to control the population of the Empire. Occasionally being used directly to stomp rebellions and keep people loyal to the king. However when the War began, the A.R.M acted as the offensive unit used against The Allied Forces. The Military was primarily Aetherians, however many of the other Abyssian races were drafted into the army, however many tried to defect to join the Allied Forces.

Prelude
Leading up to the war there was massive tensions between the Skrapr city Oblivion and the Aetherian Empire.
Outcome
The War lead to the destruction of many citizens homes in major population centres in Abyssia. This caused most residents of Abyssia to flee to the Terranial Realm, to seek new homes not purged by war.
Aftermath
The War lead to the annihilation of the Abyssia Realms land. Meaning it was uninhabitable for life in most areas of the realm. With only the region of Tempest being left in a habitable state. Therefore the Realm was all but abandoned by the Skrapr, Twi and Aetherian races.
The Abyss now remains a wasteland, however leaders of the Olympion Commonwealth of Mytaele, still live and wrok in Abyssia, in hopes of returning it to it's former glory. This is along side the help of Skrapr scientists in Undulion.
