Lord Gabriel Steel (a.k.a. Champion of the Abyss)
Gabriel Steel was the military leader of the Allied Forces, a belligerent in The Great Abyssian War. and is a deuteragonist in the Fall of the Abyss. He was also the last Lord of the nation of Oblivion.
Personality
A man of the people, a good father. A man who has lived much of his life already and is knowledgeable and strong. He is a role model for any Skrapr. 'A perfect example'. Gabriel has been through hell and therefore wishes it upon no one and will do all in his power to make sure people don't have to suffer. Gabriel believes that the only way to get what he believes in, is too fight for it, peaceful protests lead to innocents suffering in his eyes.Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Gabriel is a Skrapr with a large muscular build. At the time of The Fall of the Abyss he was high performance, at peak physical condition and approaching middle age.
Special abilities
Gabriel is well educated in the art of the claymore, using his intense strength to whip and lunge his sword around his body, using it's momentum to deliver heavy and relentless bursts of attacks. Killing all in it's path, this attack could cut threw enemy blockades like warm butter. This Barrage of strength was enough to leave most enemies either completely worn out, or laying dead on the battlefield. Gabriel can also use this blade to rip through fortifications and preform parry attacks, leaving an enemy in a extremely vulnerable state.
However while primarily depended on his sword alone, he also used his high mana flow to rapidly increase the rate of his swings and if needed, could infuse his blade with his mana, allowing for explosive attacks with each merciless swing. After training with this technique, Gabriel became able to hold this form almost indefinitely in battle, making him a one man army.
On top of this, he has mastered the Natural Magic Ability of the Skrapr, Bonding, to the point where his armour itself could by used as a weapon, being able to take the armour of his enemies and use it himself for a period of time. Afterwards being able to use the torn scrap as a projectile, launching it with his mana increased strength.
Specialized Equipment
Steel Family Claymore: This is an extremely well crafted claymore that has been passed down through the Steel Family. When Gabriel held the blade, it was named 'Aneita', his lost wife. The blade is named like this to honour the fallen members of the Steel Family by engraving their name upon the blade.

Personal history
Gabriel Steel was born to a proud Blacksmithing family in Aetheria in the year 2bc(3470ac). However after his father aged, he lost his touch and was deemed useless by many of his previous customers. After gaining a bad reputation his father closed his business and later died in 14ac. For years after Gabriel lived his life and faced racism and discrimination, sadly common in Aetheria. In the year 25ac his mother past away. In the following year, Gabriel met his love and had a child, this child being Dralf Steel. After raising the child to 10 years of age, Gabriel sort to move to the first Skrapr city, known as Oblivion. To assure his son wouldn't have to go through the same discrimination as he did as a child.
Then in the year 40ac the city was invaded by Aetherian Army and was put under Military rule. In the panic and forced relocation by Aetheria that followed, Gabriel had lost his wife. Gabriel was left with Dralf Steel for the following 2 years, barely being able to put food on the table. Then Gabriel and Dralf Steel founded Deviance, a revolutionary group that would go on to take over Oblivion for themselves. Returning the city to it's former Glory.

Gabriel was believed to be undefeatable, and to a certain extent he was. Gabriel remained undefeated until the end. Many believed he was powerful enough to kill the Abyssian King. This was so much of an idea that the Abyssian King began to fear Gabriel, and so, developed a weapon that would wipe out Gabriel and The Allied forces. The weapon that was developed was known as Code: Vortex. The weapon was launched on the 21st Equinus 52ac, targeted for the city of Oblivion.
