A Letter from the Raven Council
Introduction
Nine days after the Fall of Lady Death the leaders of each Capital within Haven was delivered a small tome, black and dripping with Divine blood. The text would quickly outline the events that took place between Ram, Lady Death, and the destruction that would come to be known as Death's Cradle.
Raven-Bound Tome
The tomes themselves, now considered holy relics by the people of Ravenpeak, were constructed of the pale leather of ravens before being dyed in the dark blood of Lady Death herself. The spine was decorated with intricate patterns of gold lace that depicted a falling star. Each tome was constructed with small variations meant to represent which Capitals were in favor of the Raven Council. The tomes of the favored were tightly bound and properly aligned while the others were of far less quality in construction.
