Ice Pick Veering

A blast of frost and sleet shoot past Roderick Fyre as he dodges beside it. He almost falls and swings his sword at the frost giant king, as he swings the weapon he looks over his shoulder at the four soldiers frozen in place from the freezing attack. The frost giant King Arrg'hun reaches forward with his weapon, Ice Pick Veering, in an attempt to impale the human leader, Fyre. Fyre leaps over the attack and stumbles across the weapon a few feet and onto the giant's hand until he drives the long blade of his sword through the giant's forearm. He can feel the cold from the weapon, what appears to be a smoothed stalagmite, clinging onto his boots and almost immediately trying to freeze his toes. King Arrg'hun yells and swings his arm angrily. Fyre and Ice Pick Veering fall to the ground. Lara Mortine runs past Fyre's body as it rolls across the floor of ice giant's cave. She is yelling as she impales Arrg'hun in his side with her flaming spear. A flurry of arrows sink into the giant's back with electricity arcing around them. A cloaked Yoldur is seen for a moment and disappears with his bow in hand behind rock and ice. Arrg'hun falls forward onto his knees and catches himself with his good arm. Fyre leaps to his feet and charges the frost giant and plunges his glowing shortsword beneath his opponent's jaw.
