Raguk

Raguk looks much like our own world, but the race of man has not pushed the other races into the shadows and they remain powerful. So powerful that they have instead rewritten the most powerful empires and kingdoms to instead be ruled by the races other than man.   The Actaug Empire has risen on a peninsula that juts into the oldest known sea. Their dominion has grown to include the known civilized world and much of the uncivilized world, subduing many of the world's older societies and adding to their own. The kingdoms of near humans still stand, but broken and bowed, offering tribute to the empire in return for its protection, both economic and military.   The Legend of the Lawgivers tells much about how the world was before the orcs rose to their dominion but it does not reach back in time to the earliest times when dragons ruled. Those times are shrouded in mystery and legend. Some believe those times will come again, others say they never ended.
