Tzherzoi

Cold, muddy, and dark, Tzherzoi stands as the northwestern extremity of The Seven Kingdoms . It is a land marked by oppressive wetlands, endless rolling steppes, jagged black mountains, and dense, murky forests. It borders the Tamsaboszan (“the Darklands” or “the Tainted Lands”) to the north, from which spill horrifying raiding parties of Orcs and Bugbears, and histories speak of far more terrible creatures emerging from that accursed place. Tzherzoi was once the seat of the great and mythic Belian empire, but collapsed more than a thousand years ago from the weight of its reach. The Tzher people are hardy, dour, and cultivate a dark humor. Many of their noble houses are Utgati or “Half-Orcs” (though the term is inaccurate and pejorative in Raen). The people here have not forgotten their fearsome warrior culture, and the old shamanic traditions of their ancient clans carry on to this day.
