Welcome to my Novelember 2024, WorldAnvil's healthy response to NaNoWriMo. Here you'll find the articles and...maybe... other fiction writing that I have completed during the month of November. While much will centre on one continuation of a storyline, I have plans to pull in other part-started prose projects too.

Why Novelember?
I first joined WorldAnvil as a platform to help me develop my world, have a place to store all its information and to encourage me to write. I also wanted to connect with other writers and, who knows, maybe a publisher while I'm on this side of the world.
While I have done a lot of world building and the occasional challenge, it isn't my strength. So this year - 2024 if you're reading this in the future - I'm going to do the #Novelember challenge instead of WorldEmber.
This page will grow through this month, so please do check back every so often!
What I Included
Given my short attention span, my aim was to create 25,000 words of prose fiction, but not necessarily on one story. As it turned out, most of it was on one story, but I still began the work on Wrenched.- The Cleansing (of Zykyrn Pilkarrz)
- Wrenched: this was my first novel, but it needs rewriting, not just polishing. It has never been published (not officially, nor on a website like WA). So if I include it, it will be new writing.
Patreon and Ko-Fi subs will get early-access to a bunch of these episodes. My Actual Goal
What I really wanted to do before #Novelember2024 was shift my prose series on in a significant way. I am mid-month, and I've progressed the story but quite a margin, and that's also led me to create new characters, places (that are destroyed in the current Era) and even technologies. I have now refined my goals to something achievable.- Words: 25,000, and/or
- Chapters: 15

The Cleansing
The main focus for Novelember this year is the continuation of The Cleansing. This is an ongoing series of "episodes" following the journey of Y'kàndrà, a survivor of the battle that established the Qalathian nation. It follows directly on from Fallen Down of Nectar Glen.When Will Other Episodes Be Published?
I will be putting together a publishing schedule for them, as Patreon and Ko-Fi subs see these first. I won't publish more than one espisode a week, though. That means readers aren't put off by notifications, and I'm not rushing the editing phase. Thanks!Novelember Word Count Tracker
