Titanheart
"How does that even work? They're huge, surely you'd just get squashed."
"You're thinking way too much about it, dude. Let it go."
"I'm just saying!"
Tall as the Sky
Called the Daharúkh in the tongue of giants, they are beings of stature, who walk the line between two worlds. Born of unions rare and fraught with peril, they carry the blood of giants and mortals alike. They are not the towering behemoths one might expect of such a lineage. Instead, their size is modest by giant standards but undeniably striking amongst mortals. The shortest titanheart stands a head taller than most men, while the tallest among them stand a few feet taller. It is not their height, however, that marks them as different but their presence - a weight of being that seems to press the air around them. Titanhearts are often described as stone given life. Their skin, ranging from earthy browns to pale granites and deep slate greys, carries an almost imperceptible sheen, as if polished by the elements themselves. Their eyes hold the clarity of mountain streams, shining in shades of icy blue, mossy green, and amber gold. Hair, when it grows at all, cascades like a weathered waterfall or clings close to their skulls in coarse, rock-like waves. Those who meet a titanheart's gaze often speak of an unsettling sense of being measured, as though their soul is being weighed against an ancient and unyielding scale. Born of two disparate lineages, titanhearts find themselves perpetual outsiders. Among humans, they are giants, their strength and endurance setting them apart. Among giants, they are diminutive, lacking the vastness and ancient majesty that defines those great beings. Yet it is in this space between that they have forged their identity. The spirit of a titanheart is one of adaptation and endurance, qualities they have honed as finely as a master carver shapes stone.Tough as the Earth
Titanhearts are renowned for their physical prowess, but it is their resilience of spirit that defines them. Life in the high places is harsh, demanding both strength and cunning. They are skilled hunters and foragers, their knowledge of the land rivaling even the most learned druids. Yet they are not solitary by nature. When they descend to the lowlands, they bring with them stories of the sky and stone, songs sung in deep, resonant tones that seem to vibrate through the bones of those who listen. For them, strength is not merely a matter of physical power. Endurance - of body, heart, and mind - is the true measure of their worth. A true titanheart stands firm, whether against the fury of a winter storm or the despair of a broken community. They are slow to anger, but when roused, their wrath is as relentless as a landslide - unstoppable and indiscriminate. In the world's tapestry, titanhearts are the threads of earth and sky, bridging the vastness of giants with the humanity of mortals. They walk a path few understand, their feet firmly planted in the soil while their gaze reaches for the peaks. In their hearts, they carry the echoes of both their heritages, each step a reminder that even the mightiest of stones can be shaped by the hands of time.

They sound like an interesting folk to spend time with. I am sad that they never really fit in, though.

Quite literally, in some cases. They are rather tall and ceilings can be unfortunately low
