"They don't rush because the earth never hurries."
"Yeah, I get that, but it could move through our yard a little quicker, and maybe leave less gravel..."
"You want to go ask it to keep to the path and not step on your flowers?"
"No, no, I'm okay."— A couple looking out their home window
Rocking
The bones of the world given life, beings of stone, soil, and ancient will. They are immense and slow-moving, their forms an amalgamation of rock and sediment that shifts with each ponderous step. To see one is to witness a piece of the landscape rise and move, the ground beneath their feet trembling at the weight of their existence.
They are not creatures of haste. Time flows differently for them, as steady and deliberate as the growth of a mountain or the erosion of a cliff. This patience gives them a sense of permanence, an aura of unyielding resolve that mortals find both awe-inspiring and unsettling.
Earth elementals are not born but formed. They emerge from places of deep power; caverns where the air hums with unseen energy, or volcanic ridges where molten rock meets the cold embrace of the world above. Each elemental is unique, shaped by the geology of the place that birthed it. Some are smooth and polished, like obsidian statues; others are rough and jagged, their forms riddled with cracks and seams where quartz glints like trapped light.
Rolling
Though they rarely speak, when they do, their voices are deep and resonant, like the grinding of tectonic plates or the echo of a stone dropped into an endless chasm. Their words are few but weighty, carrying the wisdom of eons.
They are protectors of balance, guardians of the deep and sacred places; caves carved by millenia, the groves where roots entwine with stone. Woe betide those who dig too greedily or tread too carelessly in these realms, for if an earth elemental rises in anger, it is because something has upset the delicate equilibrium they are bound to maintain. Such rage is cataclysmic, manifesting in avalanches, landslides, or quakes that tear through the world above.
Despite their vast power, they are deeply connected to the fragility of the world they guard. They understand that even the mightiest mountains crumble in time, and their role is not to prevent such decay but to ensure it follows its natural course.
To summon an earth elemental is to call upon the patience of stone and the wrath of the shifting earth. To befriend one, though rare, is to gain the loyalty of something eternal, steady, and unbreakable.
I think the earth elementals are the ones I'd most like to meet out of your elementals. At least they probably won't squish me for just passing by.

Most elementals won't, they're just rather powerful when they do get mad.
