Selanna Avernas is princess of Veneta. Whether or not she will ascend to the throne is still an unresolved matter. She is the daughter of Inana Chabot and Festina Avernas. Selanna is currently grieving the passing of her mother. She has few people that she can turn to for advice. She never wanted the throne and was rather content being a princess. 
Her earliest memory is of playing in the streets of Veneta with the other children, never quite aware that she was different and of a higher station.
