Mika Yamanagi
Mika is the Yamanagi Conglomerate's newest head, and the current employer of the HGA. From the moment she was born, Mika's life was constantly in danger. Her status as the Conglomerate's heir apparent made her a prime target for those wishing to take the position for themselves. Mika has survived multiple assassination attempts, some closer than others, though her mother and father weren't so lucky. Mika ended up being raised by a few different foster families, in an attempt to make her harder to find. Eventually, she would survive long enough to be enrolled into Shining Beacon Academy, the Yamanagi group's largest private school.
Upon reaching her final year at the school, an unknown benefactor would end up hiring the HGA to protect Mika's life up until her graduation. The mercenaries would masquerade as students, performing their jobs to the best of their abilities and bonding with Mika herself, forming a sort of found family. Throughout the year, multiple assassins (also masquerading as students) would make attempts on Mika's life, though all were thwarted by her team of bodyguards. At one point, Mika would have a complete mental breakdown, seeing Akari as another assassin and attacking her. In the heat of the moment, Akari accidentally wounded Mika, shooting her in the chest while attempting to wrestle a weapon away from her. Thankfully, a majority of Mika's ribs were titanium, causing the round to glance off without causing too much damage.
Ikune and Inori would rush Mika to safety, while Akari and Aya stayed behind to finish the job, having found that the current head of the Yamanagi Conglomerate was behind both the assassination attempts and their own hiring. Mika would recover, and the HGA would finish their job.
Upon graduating, Mika would ascend to her rightful place at the top of the Yamanagi Conglomerate. She would forgive Akari for her mistake, and would end up hiring the HGA on as her own personal protection detail, while allowing them to continue their work as mercenaries. Soon after, Mika would attend a prestigious business school in Switzerland in order to learn how to effectively run her new empire. While she was away, she tasked the HGA with going through the remainder of the Yamanagi Conglomerate's directorate and dealing with any more possible threats to her and her newfound family. A job which the HGA would flawlessly execute.
Sometime after returning from Switzerland, Mika would be approached by Ikune (her girlfriend at the time). After some uncharacteristically nervous stuttering and stumbling, Ikune would propose to Mika, who tearfully accepted. The two are now happily married. Akari cried at the wedding.

Mika is kind and cheerfully optimistic, believing that there's always a bright side. This is something that she developed in order to cope with being in constant danger and she tries her hardest to avoid breaking down. After the incident at Shining Beacon, Mika has developed a bit of a ruthless streak, believing that, in order to protect herself and her new family, prospective threats need to be culled. Despite this, Mika still strives to treat others with kindness, hoping that they do the same to her.
