Sitric

A god of demon origin. The Demon phoenix tricked by the trickster into servitude. Per his contract he serves as Latebra´s sun.

Sitric, a.k.a. "Devourer", "Watchful Eye", “Struggler”, “Changer of Things”, is a demonic phoenix-like Titan of magma and fire which was found by the trickster deep in the depths of a demonic plane called Abyss. It was tricked and bound by the trickster, forced to remain in a safe distance from the planet, never to come close and never allowed to leave the tricksters sphere of influence. It´s burning body acts as a Sun circling the planet. Through that it is always tiredly looking for a place to rest unable to find anything, it obeys the trickster’s machination so it can rest once a year, as the trickster brings a moon he can finally land on. He is the aspect of Illumination and Perception, but also of Perseverance. While its light and warmth brings live it also burns to death everything too weak to withstand its rays. Many who live in very cold or very hot climate worship this indifferent being of fire for its unending struggle to survive. As it sees everything it´s light shines on, it is also known as a being of knowledge. Together with Albia the main religion (beside the trickster) of the 700 houses of the sun. Also despite the claim of the Eternal Empress to be the first god of latebra, that actually is not true. She is the first to wander the planet, but Sitric was a prerequisite to even be able to have life on latebra, making him the ”true” first God of latebra, apart of the trickster of course.

The long Dark/Dark Days - the time period where it is allowed to rest on a moon. during this time it is obscured by the moon and Latebra is drowned in darkness and coldness.
