The Watchers
An independent military agency that both helps with guarding Velámón as well as protecting those who can pay for their services. The main difference between the watchers and the legion is that the watchers mostly consist of paladins of Helm, with the rest being clerics of Helm. They see their mission as to protect others and make their business doing so. Compared to the legion there are a lot fewer of the watchers, though they are often more powerful and are better equipped. Their headquarters is the Watchers’ Spire in Velámón.
Structure
The Watchers work mostly independently, with the gaining renown and respect within the order from their accomplishments, and they often charge their own prices. The leader of the organization is called the Keeper of the Eye.
Culture
The members of the organization are devout followers of Helm, who have sworn themselves to protect those in need.
Public Agenda
As followers of Helm, the organization wants to protect others and those that are weaker than themselves and keep them safe.
Granted Divine Powers
Many of the members are clerics and paladins whose power is to be used to protect and help others.
