Grandmaster Leeruhn Randalhf, III

 INTRODUCTION 

 Grandmaster Leeruhn Randahlalf is one of the goldhammer dwarves, a descendant of the great dwarven tribes of the third period. Although only a handful made it into the age of freedom, Leeruhn's tribe managed to settle in the outskirts of the vast wastelands seperating Traelec, Archia, and Caeveit. He fought in the second and third magic wars, and is most noted in preserving the lives of both Claxton and Jaxson Pollard after the seperation from Archia in 4631. 

 EARLY LIFE 

 Leeruhn was born in 4219, during the stabalization of the battlewrath region and other southern parts of Abeon. His family was dishonored and exiled from Meleuhur as a result of aiding Ithrium in the earlier parts of its fall, so Leeruhn grew up poor and homeless, always on the move. To avoid being recognized as a battlewrath dwarf, Leeruhn was renamed Lee Randahle, and was sent to Dusswik to train to be a soldier. But at age 31, he left the academy, favoring a life of hermatige and farming instead. 

 WAR HERO 

 Lee was called upon by King Elymas of Archia to forge magic blades for his high rank soldiers The Keepers of Kor'non. Leeruhn kept several of these weapons for himself, forging a relationship with two of merciful, Van the Warden and Gu'ure the Boldour. For years he would aid Van and Gu'ure during the hunts for reapers in the middleton regions of Abeon. At the age of 413, Leeruhn fought with Van and the other merciful against the tyranical Archian Empire, taking a place in Claxton Pollard's navy during his mighty victories. 

 LEE THE SAVIOR 

 After the war, Leeruhn found out about the plot from Traelecii leaders to assassinate Pollard and his family to destroy any power Trouffen might hold over the people. Once the merciful were alerted of the impending plot, Van and Gu'ure were sent in to extract the baby Jaxson and his parents; but the extraction went awry, and they were ambushed by Dolion and his minions. Claxton was killed, and Leeruhn was left with the mother and child. Van and Gu'ure fell behind, and Lainey Pollard, the mother of Jaxson, fled Leeruhn, assuming him to be a part of the plot against Claxton. Leeruhn would not reunite with the boy until 4781, when a happenstance caused Van to seek refuge with Jaxson in Leeruhn's hut in the wastelands. Leeruhn would go on to fight with Jaxson during the third magic war, but his part in Jaxson's salvation would not be revealed wholly to Jaxson until after his death. A memorial to the great master is still built in Kristar to this day.
